Pastor Helyssa Vikki Taylor Samuels

 

Born June 21, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan to Rev. Marshall & Heloise F. Taylor.

 

Affectionately addressed by her middle name, "Vikki" was baptized in the Name of Jesus at the tender age of nine and filled with the Holy Ghost at age 12. After asking her grandfather, the late Elder H.J Hoke, to anoint her hands to play the organ & piano, Pastor Taylor-Samuels began serving in the Music Department as musician, choir director & song writer.

 

In September 1995, Pastor Taylor Samuels joined in support of her father, Pastor Marshall Taylor, to start the ministry of The Word of Grace Church. She is now serving as Pastor since her father's passing.

 

Her greatest testimony is "I am saved by grace and grace alone".

 

"For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!" I Cor. 9:16
